Verdapaw tells you how dangerous a plant is for your pet, using vet-sourced data. Text lookup is free forever. The $19 Home Safety Scan is a one-time purchase with a concrete deliverable list below. We're an information service, not your vet — if your pet is sick, call a veterinarian. If something goes wrong with a purchase, our liability is capped at what you paid, and refunds are easy (see the refund policy).
Verdapaw (verdapaw.com) is a plant × pet safety index. Every plant in our database carries a severity grade from S0 (safe) to S4 (emergency), transcribed from primary veterinary sources — chiefly the ASPCA and Pet Poison Helpline — and reviewed by a human before publication. The service has three parts: free text lookup, photo identification (first photo free, then part of the Home Safety Scan), and the paid Home Safety Scan.
One-time payment of USD $19. It includes, in full:
One house rule overrides everything commercial: any S3 or S4 danger we detect is shown to you in full before and regardless of payment. We never paywall a safety emergency.
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment processing, sales tax, and billing support; your payment relationship for the transaction is with them, and their terms apply to the checkout itself. We never see or store your card details.
Verdapaw is an information service. Verdicts summarize published veterinary sources; photo identification is automated and can be wrong — that's why we show our confidence honestly and never auto-answer when a possible match is high-risk. Verdapaw is not veterinary advice, and no content on this site is a diagnosis. If your pet has eaten a plant and shows symptoms, contact a veterinarian or a poison hotline immediately. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdapaw's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim — for free usage, that amount is zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Don't scrape the database wholesale, resell the reports, upload photos you have no right to upload, or use the service to harm anyone. We may suspend access that abuses the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
